Welcome, and thanks for visiting my site!  I'm excited about playing and teaching the fiddle, with a bit of guitar, mandolin and singing for good measure.  I pride myself on my collaborative and creative nature with the groups I play with, always striving for a great group sound.  For me, this means focusing on tone, style, lines and rhythms that hopefully enhance the listener experience and that of my bandmates.  I leave the flash to the phenomenal young fiddlers who pass through our town.  I love what they do and we coexist respectfully and peacefully.

I've filled in with lots of local bluegrass, acoustic and roots bands including the Bagboys (bluegrass, swing and oldtime), Crabgrass (cape cod bluegrass), Greg Klyma (americana), the Deborah McDonnell Band (americana/bluegrass), Peter Ward and Amarillo (country), Boston Road (bluegrass) and the Squeezebox Stompers (cajun/zydeco) to name a few.   I'm a quick study, but also like to do my homework to really learn the material and arrangements.  And I'm available if you're looking for some fiddle parts to spice up your recording project!
